This file contains two small bound volumes relating to the International Biological Programme (IBP) one being an Australian Progress Report 1967-1970 and the other a 'Guide to the Human Adaptability Proposals' (1965). There is also correspondence from J.S. Weiner (Convener, Human Adaptability Section) to R.L. Kirk (Department of Genetics, John Curtin School of Medical Research, Canberra) (August 1973) regarding the International Biological Programme- Human Adaptability (HA) Section, in particular National HA Monographs. The file also contains various reports from the Australian Academy of Science on HA activities and meeting minutes from the different IBP projects.
