- Water, Electrolytes and the Adaptation of Aboriginals to the Humid Tropics.
- Description
A typewritten Document entitled 'Water, Electrolytes and the Adaptation of Aboriginals to the Humid Tropics' by Professor W.V. Macfarlane in which he outlines different approaches used to measure water distribution and turnover, such as to measure fluid distribution and turnover, to determine the electrolyte concentrations and body fluids, and to compare the renal and sweat gland responses of Europeans and Aboriginals to the same work load. He would like to make these measurements on humid tropics Aboriginals thereby allowing direct comparisons between the desert-adapted nomads and the northern groups, to be made.
