Title
Telegram from P.M. Moodie to R.L. Kirk
Description

Telegram (21/5/1968) from P.M. Moodie (Health, Darwin) to R.L. Kirk (JCSMR, Canberra) explaining that he is about to commence serum survey of 1700 Aboriginal people throughout Northern Territory for Treponematoses and that he will have excess blood clots and serum available for Kirk's use. If Kirk is interested then he should advise what examinations will be performed and where, whether serum immunoglobulin or other study relevant to the question of biological false positive serological tests for treponematosis can be included and given a priority rating. Moody is also informing him that all technical work will have to be done in Darwin and Kirk would have to arrange this. Also, Moody will be able to supply limited tribal and genealogical data to accompany serum samples, after November, 1968.
