- Description
Correspondence from R.L. Kirk to Dr W.A. (Spike) Langsford (Director of Health, Darwin) enclosing the final draft of a paper on "The Distribution of Some Serum Protein and Enzyme Groups among Populations at Various Localities in the Northern Territory of Australia" to be submitted to Archaeology and Physical Anthropology in Oceania. Since Dr Tibbs is one of the coauthors, Kirk would be glad if Langsford can let Kirk know when departmental approval has been obtained for the publication of the paper. Kirk thanks Langsford for the excellent cooperation received from members of his department and suggests that the study is the most extensive of its kind ever undertaken in Australia. He comments that this demonstrates the value of utilising surplus material obtained for other purposes. Roy Simmons is preparing the companion paper dealing with the blood group distributions.
