Title
Correspondence from Mr Ted Milliken to R.L. Kirk
Description

Correspondence from Mr Ted Milliken (Acting Director of Welfare, Northern Territory Administration, Darwin) to R.L. Kirk (2/4/1968) regarding the possible visit of Mr D.J. van de Kaa, from Professor Borrie's staff at ANU, to Darwin. Milliken will meet with him when in Canberra and determine dates and a programme for his visit. Professor John Ovenstone from Adelaide has said that if all of the demographical material were to be put into a computer, it will take them 6 months of solid work. Professor Ovenstone could have the cards punched and the material available to them for analysis work in the form of print out genealogies by the end of the year or early in 1969.
