Correspondence from R.L. Kirk to Dr Lawrie Y.C. Lai (School of Human Genetics, University of New South Wales) (28/1/1969) confirming the arrival of a list of Elcho Island acid phosphatase results from Lai. Kirk confirms that the whole population from the Elcho Island Mission were surveyed including European staff and that a large number of individuals were related. Kirk says they are currently trying to sort out the genealogies so that the degrees of relationship may be taken into account in the final analysis.
