Correspondence from R.J. Walsh (Professor of Human Genetics, The University of New South Wales) to R.L. Kirk (14/2/1969) urgently requesting Kirk's advice on two financial matters relevant to the International Biological Programme. The United Kingdom committee has recommended some additions to the New Guinea project that require funding from Australia, and Dr E.B. Hipsley has submitted a proposal on nitrogen metabolism for New Guineans for which he requires funding from the International Biological Programme. Walsh wants to know whether Kirk supports their funding of these proposals.
