Title
Correspondence from D. Halley to R.L. Krik
Description

Correspondence from D.E. Halley to R.L. Kirk (20/3/1969) updating Kirk on her activities. A desk has been set up in the Research Section of the Welfare Head Office for use by Halley and she has been working on the 'top priority' list and will visit the areas concerned to clarify outstanding queries. She is trying to get as many Individual Record Sheets completed as possible adding information to the Welfare records as she does each family. Mr Milliken wants to assess the accuracy of Halley's field working methods before accepting her corrections to data already received. Halley will be visiting East Arm Leprosy Settlement because a couple of good informants from Elcho Island are currently there, and she hopes to visit Elcho Island in the next week or so. Dr Langsford has a few notes to send to Kirk regarding the draft copy of the Elcho Island manuscript and is particularly interested in the person (whose name is clipped to the top of this letter) who demonstrated no activity in the 6PGD enzyme system.
