Correspondence from Professor Sue Serjeantson (Human Genetics Group, Division of Clinical Sciences, John Curtin School of Medical Research, ANU) to Professor Marc Feldman (Department of Biological Science, Stanford University, Stanford CA) (15/2/1993) suggesting that the blood specimens, collected by herself and Bob Kirk which have come from Western Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, China, Java and South India might be useful for pilot studies to determine population groups and genetic markers to be selected for study in the Human Genome Diversity project. Serjeantson also encloses a few paragraphs on her work on peptide vaccine development.
