Handwritten facsimile correspondence from Dr Tim Burt (Department of Health and Community Services, Alyangula and Groote Eylandt Health Centre, Northern Territory) to Professor Sue Serjeantson (Human Genetics Group, Division of Clinical Sciences, John Curtin School of Medical Research, ANU) (17/2/1992) enclosing community consent from Jimmy Yantarrnga (President) and Walter Amagula (Town Clerk) of the Angurugu Community Government Council for the blood which had been collected from a large family in Angurugu to be used to help further the success of kidney transplants in Aboriginal people. Burt also indicates that individual written consent has been obtained from the 6 preferred individuals.
