Description: This file contains lists of individuals from whom blood was collected at Carnarvon, Nullagine, Port Hedland, and Marble Bar. Some of the records give name, age, sex, caste, fitness, origin and test results; some give sample number, name, sex and age; while others give tallies of the serology results by location. The file also contains correspondence between R.L. Kirk and Mr F.G. Anderson, (Department of Native Welfare, Perth W.A); and between Dell Vos and Mr Ken Winder (Native Welfare office, Pt Hedland, WA); between Dell Vos and Mr George Budge (Native Welfare Office, Marble Bar, WA); and between Dell Vos and Mr and Mrs G. Stevens, (Riverdale Mission, Nullagine, WA). The correspondence pertains to Gerard and Dell Vos' visit to Port Hedland-Marble Bar area to obtain blood samples. There is also a 1959 July census for Pindan which gives name age, sex and place of birth.
