Dr Roy Simmons was a Senior Consultant with the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, in Parkville, Victoria. He collaborated extensively with Bob Kirk, performing complete blood typing on samples collected in Australia for the International Biological Programme, Human Adaptability 1 project.
