Summary
During the late 1960s,Ted Milliken was the Acting Director of Welfare in the Northern Territory Administration and later became the Director, of the Research Branch of the Division of Welfare in Darwin. He was particularly helpful to Bob Kirk in overseeing and helping to make arrangements for the field work conducted by Dilys Halley and the other researchers connected with the International Biological Programme. There is considerable correspondence between Milliken and Kirk held in the NCIG collection.
